Jordan Schilling's work on World of Warcraft provided inspiration to pursue a degree in programming and eventually contribute directly to the game's development. Playing a key role in launching two brand-new game modes Mists of Pandaria Remix and Plunderstorm by supporting end-to-end QA, automation, and feature validation across teams.
Jordan Schilling helped pioneer the automation platform used for build verification and led cross-QA functionality for features like the WoW Remix season-end rollover and the account-wide progression system. Collaborating with principal software engineers, implemented a new database system that significantly reduced space complexity for persistent updates.
In addition, Jordan Schilling contributed to front-end features such as the new Hunter stable UI, supported economy refreshes for the Auction House, and delivered detailed UX feedback to improve gameplay systems and user-facing designs. This project reflects a blend of technical innovation and player-centered design that keeps World of Warcraft evolving with each release.
